The Andhra Pradesh High Court has ordered that Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy be under the custody of CBI for 5 days to facilitate the ongoing inquiry against him in the disproportionate assets case.
The YSR Congress president is now lodged in Chanchalguda jail. He will go to CBI office at Dilkush Guest house and he will be interrogated from morning 10am to 5pm every day starting from tomorrow. The HC also said that two advocates have to be present during interrogation.
The High Court also dismissed the bail petition of Jagan as also another petition asking for quashing of arrest proceedings against him. The HC ruled that the arrest of Jagan is in accordance with the relevant provisions of law.
