Andhra Pradesh gets Rs 55,500 Cr credit
Andhra Pradesh gets a credit of Rs55,500 crore proposed by the State Level Bankers’ Committee.
The Chief Minister, Dr YS. Rajasekhar Reddy, unveiled the credit plan and sought support for the novel cooperative farming proposal which will be launched with in a month.
The bankers stated that the repayment by Self Help Groups was 90 %.
In the credit plan for the current financial year, the bankers have set a target of Rs 23,500 crore for crop loans, Rs 9,000 crore for agriculture term loans including allied activities, Rs 8,000 crore for small scale industries, Rs 15,000 crore for other priority sector advances.
