Al Qaeda would use Pakistan’s nuclear weapons in its fight against the United States, if it could lay its hands on them. According to Mustafa Abu al-Yazid, a top leader of the terror group in an interview with Al Jazeera which were telecast on Sunday.
Pakistan has been battling al Qaeda and Taliban forces in the Swat Valley since April after their thrust into a district 100 km northwest of the Pakistan capital which raised fears around the world that the nuclear weapons of Pakistan could slowly slip into the control of al Qaeda and Taliban.
Al Qaeda has declared USA as the enemy number one against Islam. This terror outfit widely believed to have planned the 9/11 New York attack on the Twin Trade Towers, is training the Taliban cadres in Afghanistan which in turn is waging war against Pakistan.
