Hyderabad, July 16 (INN): Giving indications of revival of friendship between the MIM and Congress, Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi on Tuesday called on Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha here on Tuesday.
Although the MIM leaders gave an impression that they met the Deputy Chief Minister to know the recent developments in Delhi over the Telangana issue, the analysts feel otherwise. Akbaruddin Owaisi is known for his anti-Telangana stand while Rajanarasimha is a strong advocate of Telangana State. Therefore, the agenda of meeting between these two leaders could not be Telangana alone, says the analyst.
However, MIM leaders maintained that they Akbar Owaisi and Deputy Chief Minister discussed the roadmap presentation made at the Core Committee meeting held on July 12 in New Delhi.
