Actor Krishnam Raju resigns from Praja Rajyam Party
There seems to be a steady stream of deserters from Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party. After its debacle in the recent general elections, many leaders like Parakala Prabhakar, Mitra, C Anjaneya Reddy quit the party.
Actor and former Union minister U.V. Krishnam Raju, who contested from Rajahmundry on a PRP ticket sent in his resignation letter to the party president. He joined PRP after leaving BJP. He now says that he will take a decision on his political future soon. Speculation is rife that he may join the Congress party.
There has been speculation in the media that T. Devender Goud and E. Peddi Reddy, who joined the Praja Rajyam Party might return to Telugu Desam.
