A R Antulay raises a controversy
Union Minority Affairs Minister A R Antulay on Wednesday raised doubts whether Pakistani terrorists killed Maharashtra ATS Chief Hemant Karkare and his colleagues.
Antulay said that there was more than what met the eyes as Karkare was investigating some cases in which there were non-Muslims also. This was an apparent reference to the Malegaon blasts case in which Sadhvi Pragya Thakur and a Lt Colonel Shrikant Prasad Purohit were among the 11 persons arrested.
Antulay asked why Karkare did not go to Taj, Oberoi or Nariman House where the terrorists were holed up. He demanded a separate inquiry into the killing of ATS officers.
