31 militants sneaked into India from Pakistan
Brigadier Gurmeet Singh of the Indian Army said that 31 militants, along with about 40 porters carrying arms and ammunition, have crossed the Line of Control through the Gurez sector in Northern Kashmir.
The Brigadier said some of the militants, who have undergone 18-90 days of intensive training, were “drugged” and pushed through the hostile terrain by their handlers.
The militants were being supported by armed forces across the border as was evident from the communication and other equipments being used by the militants.
The Army produced before the media an arrested Pakistani militant Syed Moinullah Shah of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit.
