Viagra to face competition from Wonder Pill

Research scientists in Britain have already tested a version of a wonder pill on animals which proved successful. The researchers at the Medical Research Council’s Human Reproductive Sciences Unit in Edinburgh are now working on an equivalent for humans.
According to Prof. Robert Millar, Director of the Human Reproductive Sciences Unit, the drug could initially be injected only into the brain of animals. However, researchers have now been able to inject the drug into the bloodstream instead. This will help them develop making a human version of the drug which could be released for a global mass market.
After being injected by the drug, female musk shrews and marmoset monkeys displayed classic mating behaviour towards their male counterparts. An unexpected side effect of the drug injected into animals was that their food intake decreased significantly. Some animals started eating a third less than their usual daily diet.
Looks like that the much sought after little blue pill, Viagra, which only boosts physical capability for sex in men, will have tough competition from the wonder pill, which aims to bolster the brain’s desire for sex along with other important properties. The wonder pill will generate sex drive in both women and men, boost fertility rates and even encourage weight loss.
