The celebrities of tinsel town have taken to yoga in a big way. Many of them, mostly heroines, seem to prefer yoga to enhance their fitness and beauty.
Sexy siren, Sameera Reddy does power yoga almost everyday, as she says that it helps her to relax her mind and body. The cute actress Shruti Sheth who practices Asthanga yoga regularly. Glam girl Tulip Joshi does yoga three times a week. The talented Hansika Motwani does yoga for two hours everyday but she doesn’t do any power yoga. Amrita Arora has also taken up yoga in a big way in the sense that her daily workout is not complete without practising some simple yoga techniques thrice a week
Amrita says that Yoga helps her to calm the mind and improve concentration as there are a lot of stretches involved to make the body more flexible. The vivacious young actress Priyanka Kothari makes it a point to sleep early at night so that she doesn’t miss her yoga class in the morning. She says, “We actresses need to tone up our body otherwise we will start looking bad. So yoga is the definite answer as it gives flexibility to the body and brings a glow on the skin.” Jesse Randhawa, a well-known model, too has inculcated yoga into her fitness regimen.

Kareena Kapoor too agrees that yoga and a special diet has done wonders to her health. “Yoga helps me tone down my body. I’m not into heavy exercises, due to hectic schedules, but thankfully yoga has been of great help to me,” said Kareena.
