Yuvraj Singh’s Battle Against Cancer As TV Series

A three-part series called Zindagi Abhi Baaki Hai which depicts Yuvraj Singh’s epic battle against cancer will be telecast on Colors TV channel soon. It is a co-production of Yuvraj Singh’s foundation YouWeCan and Viacom18 group of entertainment industries.

Yuvraj Singh, who was instrumental in India winning the ODI World cup in 2011, was having health problems. He was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor (Stage-I) in his left lung and underwent chemotherapy treatment at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston, USA as well as Medicine Facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana. On 18 March 2012 Yuvraj was discharged from hospital after completing the third and final cycle of chemotherapy and returned to India in April.

In July 2012, Yuvraj Singh launched his foundation YouWeCan.This foundation is meant to fight Cancer by spreading awareness about the disease, benefits of early detection and fighting the stigma attached to it.

Yuvraj Singh is back in Team India and will play the T20 match against New zealand on September 7. He is selected for T20 world cup championship also.
