Senior writer, actor Kompalle Viswam (62) passed away in Chennai on Tuesday night due to heart attack. Viswam worked as IAS officer in Kashmir and then later in Hyderabad Court. He was born in Mummidivaram, West Godavari district. Viswam made his debut as writer for Roja’s ‘Chamanthi’. Later he also worked for Sobhan Babu’s Sakkanodu,Ummadi Kutumbam, Kongumudi and others. Ten years back he became Sai Baba devotee and started a trust Sai Seva Satsangh involving himself in social activities.Viswam also scripted story and dialogues for some serials working for AVM banner. Final rites were held at Chennai on Thursday morning.
