Telugu people in Maharashtra feel insecure

An estimated 50 lakh Telugu people have migrated to various parts of Maharashtra and settled down there. They speak fluent Marathi in addition to Telugu, Hindi. Some even communicate in English.

Many of the Telugu migrants of Maharashtra feel that no one bothers about their problems and feel like orphans. With the clarion call of Siva Sena for the protection of the sons of the sol the Telugu migrants feel much more helpless.

Some enterprising Telugu migrants instituted an organization called Maharashtra Telugu Manch (MTM) to craete socio-economic & political awareness among Telugu people settled in Maharashtra and help them to participate in politics and empower themselves. Jaganbabu Ganji is the Convenor of MTM.
