State Extends Ban on CPI (Maoists)

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (INN): The Andhra Pradesh Government on Friday informed that the six organisations – Revolutionary Democratic Front (RDF), Communist Party of India (Maoist), Radical Youth League (RYL), Rythu Coolie Sangham (RCS), Radical Students Union (RSU), Singareni Karmika Samakhya (SIKASA), Viplava Karmika Samakhya (VIKASA) and the All India Revolutionary Students Federation (AIRSF) the front organizations of Communist Party of India (Maoist) have been declared as unlawful Associations.

It also informed that the ban on the RDF has been extended for a further period of one year with effect from 9th August, 2013 while the extension of ban will be in effect from 17th August, 2013 for the remaining five organizations. (INN)
