Railway recruitment scam: exam chief makes Rs 14 Cr
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is all set to arrest the suspended Mumbai Railway Recruitment Board chairman, S.M. Sharma, as it has found incriminating evidence on his involvement in the leakage of railway recruitment exam question papers.
Sharma was suspended on Friday, a day after this newspaper reported that his son, Mr Vivek Bhardwaj, was arrested by the CBI for the recruitment scam. It was found that Sharma and Bhardwaj, got Rs 1 crore from the arrested Raipur ADRM, Arun Kumar Jagannadham, for leaking the question paper. The other accused in the case made Rs 14 crore by leaking it to 400 selected candidates after taking money.
