Parents decide to sue the hospitals
Parents of the 14 year old girl Rida shake, who was died in a private hospital in Pune, with Swine flu disease on Monday last, told the media that they are going to sue both “Jahangir and Ruby hospitals” which have treated their daughter, but failed to diagnose the disease and for giving wrong treatment to their daughter, resulting the death of their daughter.
They said that, both the hospitals ignoring the seriousness of the patient start giving treatment for lung infection, instead of Swine flu treatment. They have not bothered to send the blood samples of the patient to National Institute of Virology a nodal agency which was set for this purpose only. When the hospitals send the blood samples of the patient just a day before her death, the nodal agency within hours has alerted the hospital about the Swine flu, but it’s too late to do anything. The girl was died by the time, because of the negligence shown by the hospital and for the wrong treatment by the hospitals.
Hence we do not want to see the repeated mistakes by the hospitals or any other hospitals, we are going to sue them both,’ said Riya’s parents.
