No Swine Flu in Hyderabad for now
There had been a scare in Hyderabad as the news came that a passenger who travelled from Canada last week to Hyderabad had been infected with Swine Flu.
However, the test results of swab samples of the Canadian passenger suspected to be a case of influenza A (H1N1) virus (Swine Flu) have come negative.
The Superintendent of the Government General and Chest Hospital on Tuesday announced that the reports from the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) with reference to the passenger who travelled from Canada were received and that all was clear and that he would be sent home today.
On Monday, another person who had travelled from Germany and was admitted here for suspected symptoms of the flu was also cleared and sent home.
