The Indian Maoists and their followers are resorting to anonymous blogging using the latest software that disguises the Internet Protocol address, according to the intelligence agencies, who are on the job of tracking the bloggers.
The anonymous blogging lessons are also taught on pro-Maoist blogs like www.naxalrevolution.blogspot.com and bloggers have advised the revolutionary supporters to use hushmail.
The Maoist blogs are put into several mirror sites. They can easily host a replacement if law enforcing agencies hack or block the original. The Intelligence Bureau and the AP state police earlier blocked the Peoples’ March website and naxalrevolution.blogspot.com. Sources in the state intelligence department said the naxals are looking for skilled computer specialists with hacking skills.
The Intelligence Agencies are worried that a Hi-Tech enabled Maoists may increase their cadre from among the educated youth who are employed with high pay and who are technically skilled.
