Hi-Tec City flyover in Cyberabad opens on Oct 2
The Rs 26 crore, 700-metre-long Hi-Tec City flyover with 15-metre four-lane undivided carriageway being taken up by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has been completed. The new flyover connects JNTU spinal road at one end and Cyber Gate on the other. It will be inaugurated on October 2.
With the construction of the flyover, traffic congestion in Madhapur, especially the road from JNTU Kukatpally via the IT hub, connecting the Gachibowli road and the Jubilee Hills-Kondapur road via Madhapur cross, would ease considerably, since everyday about 20,000 vehicles pass through the Cyber Towers junction.
