Hyderabad, July 14 (INN): State Haj Committee chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed on Sunday announced that the Haj flights from Andhra Pradesh would commence from September 25 tentatively.
Addressing the fifth Haj Orientation Camp at Jama Masjid Bi Sahaba Punjagutta here on Sunday, he advised the pilgrims to remit the second installment of the Haj amount as per their opted category with the Bank Reference Number on which they had deposited their first installment. He gave a number of advises to the pilgrims and asked them not to opt for first floor in the accommodation in Makkah as the first floors do not have lift facility there. He advised the pilgrims to take care of their health as the Saudi Arabia has announced that the people suffering from chronic diseases would not be allowed for Haj.
SHC Executive Officer Abdul Hameed advised the pilgrims to deposit the second installment before July 27 and submit the receipt in the SHC office.
SHC Member Mahmood Hussain Engineer announced that the next Haj Orientation Camp will be held on July 21 (Sunday) at Jama Masjid Darulshifa in the Old City. He said that the Haj Committee was striving for sorting out the issue of Rubat at the earliest.
Moulana Dr Fazaluddin explained the rituals in Haj and Umrah, while Moulana Abu Baker explained the principles of visiting the tomb of Holy Prophet Mohamamd (PBUH) in Madeenah. SHC AEO Irfan Shareef recited the na’at in the praise of Holy Prophet (PBUH).
A large number of women also attended the programme, as separate arrangements were made for them.
