India’s leading automobile-makers are getting ready to display some of their much-awaited brands and a range of vehicles at an exhibition beginning in Hyderabad from Thursday. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah will formally inaugurate the auto show on Friday.
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Andhra Pradesh Government is organising the four-day event, ‘First Auto Show South’, at Hitex Exhibition Centre here.
A number of top vehicle makers – Tata Motors, Toyota, General Motors, Fiat India, Skoda, Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda Cars, TVS Motors, Honda Motorcycles and Yamaha – besides car audio and accessories manufacturers, will participate in the exhibition.
Latest products and technologies on display will include passenger cars, SUVs, hybrid vehicles, luxury cars, two wheelers, racing bikes, car audios and video systems, GPS Navigation Systems, tyres and vehicle security systems.
The event is supported by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Federation of Automobile Associations of India.
