Computer gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of Diablo III, being developed by leading US video game company Blizzard Entertainment. A demo of the game was held recently in California attracting thousands of people.
The very elaborately designed Hack and Slash Role Playing Game (RPG) has attracted immense curiosity and interest as it will introduce superb graphics and will use Havok physics for more life-like simulations.
The first edition of DIabolo was released in 1996. Like in Diablo II released in 2000, Diablo III will also have five characters for the player to choose from. Three have been revealed : the old favourite Barbarian, who is burly and uses brute force to smash his opponents to pieces; the mysterious Witch Doctor, who lacks
physical combat abilities but makes up for it by casting voodoo spells to magically create strange creatures to destroy his enemies; and the Wizard, who like the Witch Doctor is weak in direct combat but casts elemental spells and controls time to decimate whatever comes in her path.
