1. Nemilineti Sowjanya W/o Venkateshwara Rao, age 24 years, Occ. Software Engineer at Accenture, Belandur, Bengaluru City, R/o Mirjalaguda, Malkajgiri, Ranga Reddy District.

2. Jaideep Deshi S/o Jagannath Deshi, age 26 years, Occ. Software Engineer at Accenture, Belandur, Bengaluru City, R/o H.No. 13-1-622, Dilawargunj, Mangalhat, Hyderabad, N/o Bostay (V), Mandhara (Post), Hoogly District, Kolkata State.

3. Swamy Raj Kumar S/o Late. Chennaiah Swamy, age 23 years, Occ. Employee in Milan Transport, Secunderabad, R/o H.No. 13-1-610 & 611, Dilawargunj, Mangalhat, Hyderabad, N/o Kasartugaon (V), Balki (Tq), Bidar District, Karnataka State.

The A-1 Sowjanya and A-2 Jaideep were classmates in their Graduation (B.Sc., Bio-Technology) from 2008 to 2010 at Navachaitanya degree college, Narayanaguda, where they fell in love with each other. After graduation both had joined coaching centre Brain Tree at Himayathnagar and appeared for civil services unsuccessfully during 2011. Later, they both worked in Neon technologies at Tarnaka and Innovent technology, Begumpet, Hyderabad as software employees up to 2012. Again both got selected in Accenture software company, Bengaluru as developers and residing at Bengaluru in separate paying hostels. The parents of Sowjanya reside in Durga Nagar, Nacharam and she is the youngest daughter of the family. The parents of A-2 and A-3 reside in Mangalhat area, Hyderabad. The family of A-2 migrated from Kolkata to Hyderabad and his father doing fish business. Since A-2 and A-3 families reside in same locality both became thick friends.

During the month of May’2013 the engagement of marriage of A-1 second elder sister was performed with the deceased Venkateshwar Rao, R/o Mirjalguda (distant relative) who was working as diesel mechanic in RTC Picket depot. Just 3 days before that marriage her second sister Swetha had eloped with her boy friend and got married. The parents of the A-1 got shocked with that incident and to save their family reputation successfully convinced A-1 for marriage with the deceased on the same Muhurtham. The A-1 reluctantly accepted and married the deceased. Even prior to her marriage A-1 discussed with A-2 and requested him to bear in view of her fathers ill health. Soon after marriage the A-1 realized her mismatch with deceased and continued her friendship with A-2 in Bengaluru and started disowning the marriage and her husband. Finally A-1 decided that unless she eliminates her husband she could not lead happy life with Jaideep and convinced him for the same. Both used to meet frequently in Bengaluru and conspired for elimination of her husband.

According to their plan, the A-1 and A-2 left the Bengaluru in same travels on the night of 13.9.2013 and reached Hyderabad on next morning. The deceased reached the home early on that fateful day 14.9.2013 at 4.00 PM on the request of A-1 to go to Sanghi Temple and both started at 5.00 PM and reached Sanghi Temple. At the time of starting the A-1 alerted A-2 with SMS about their departure to Temple. A-2 also left his house along with A-3 (Raj Kumar) on his motor cycle with a knife (Purchased in Big Bazaar) and reached Sanghi Temple as already the A-1 and her husband/deceased were in Temple. After darshan of Sanghi Temple on their return way as per plan A-1 intentionally diverted deceased to take right turn the motor cycle to internal road leading into open yard and thereby to Gandicheruvu village pretending for attending nature call. When the deceased stopped the bike at a distance of about 200 yards from the main road the A-2 and A-3 had followed them as per SMS messages of A-1 and pounced and A-2 attacked him with knife and cut throat of deceased while A-3 caught hold his hands and A-1 his legs. A-2 again stabbed the deceased on the instigation of A-1 as he was struggling for life causing instant death. As stage managed the A-2 had inflicted injuries to her to divert the attention of the case as murder for gain and A-1 handed over her mangala sutram and both A-2 and A-3 left the scene on same bike.

Though the A-1 Smt. Sowjanya reluctantly got married to deceased Venkateshwar Rao neither changed her mentality to leave with her husband nor disconnected her friend ship with A-2 Jaideep. She played with the lives of deceased as well as boy friend. The deceased was very low profiled, sincere and elder of the family and followed his wife Sowjanya believing her request for darshan of Sanghi temple. She utilized her academic and professional efficiency in execution of heinous crime by way of sending SMS and her voice recording to A-2. Though there is recourse of breaking the marriage either by divorce or mutual consent she took extreme step to eliminate her husband with the help of boy friend and thereby insulted the process of marriage and social custom.

Special Operations Team headed by K Govardhan Reddy, OSD, Cyberabad along with Inspectors of Police, Ch Kushalkar and K Chandra Sekhar and SI’s K Ramesh and G Nagaraju and HC’s Srinivasa Rao, Gnaneshwar Goud and PC’s Srikanth and Anand had displayed exemplary professionalism in detecting the above case and assisted Inspector R Satyanarayana Raju who arrested the accused and recovered the knife, mangala sutram, crime vehicles apart from voice recording of A-1 today on Sept 20.
