ALLGREEN Energy India, a Singapore based company is all set to launch ten biomass based renewable energy projects in India with an investment of around Rs 500 crore. Each plant will have capacity to produce 6.5 mw of energy and the total output from all the plants would be in the range of 65 MWs.
ALLGREEN is adopting the proven and patented Biomass Gasification process from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and has strategic partnership with GE Energy and ITC ltd.
The work on three of the plants proposed in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh would commence by March, 2009.
The production will start twelve months from the date of achieving of the financial closure and the firm has arrangement with buyers of energy mostly from the private sector.
