Seven crude bombs were found at Majargaon village in Maharashtra’s Jalna district on Sunday. This discovery could have a link with blasts in four cities of the state including Nanded where the hand of a saffron group is suspected.
Police received information from their informants that crude bombs were hidden in a heap of grass in the wasteland near a slum area of Manjargaon village.
The Superintendent of Police Sandeep Karnik, led a team to the spot and called the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) from Aurangabad. The squad defused the bombs.
Police sources did not rule out the possibility of a link between the bombs and those behind blasts in Nanded, Parbhani, Purna and Jalna which are under the scanner of the ATS.
