N. Chandrababu Naidu, Telugu Desam party president, will launch from October 2 a two-month long State-wide campaign against corruption in government.
The campaign will commence at Mancherial after a visit to the Yellampalli irrigation project, which, TDP feels represents unprecedented levels of corruption under the Congress regime. The project’s estimates were changed overnight benefiting the contractors by Rs. 359 crore and this was pointed out by the Comptroller and Auditor General.
A decision on the campaign was taken in the party’s Politbureau meeting here on Monday.
