Internationally renowned Canadian writer-director Deepa Mehta is adapting Booker Prize winner Salman
Rushdie’s book Midnight’s Children into a film titled Winds of Change. The film deals with the events before and after the pertition of India and the creation of Pakistan.
Deepa Mehta has earlier made the films Earth, Fire and Water which won critical acclaim and appreciated at international film festivals.
Winds of Change will go on floors soon
