Mani Ratnam to make Telugu movie
Geethanjali (1989) was only Telugu film made by Mani Ratnam. Geethanjali won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The genius plans to make a direct Telugu movie next year.
Veturi Sundararama Murthy last wrote lyrics for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Villain’, Telugu version of Raavan. Veturi is the one who suggested Villain title to Mani Ratnam.
