Biography:

Today’s top Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu, affectionately addressed as Prince by his ardent fans, was born on August 9, 1974 in Chennai, India. .He is the son of veteran Telugu actor Krishna, called Super Star by the fan clubs.

Mahesh Babu graduated with a B.Com degree from Loyola College, Chennai. He has one elder brother, Ramesh, two elder sisters, Padmavathi and Manjula and one younger sister Priyadarsini.

He married Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar in February 2005. Mahesh and Namrata’s first son was born on August 31, 2006 and named as Gautam Gattamaneni.

Mahesh started his movie career as a child actor in his father’s films before making his debut as a Hero.

Mahesh made his debut with the film Rajakumarudu as a hero. The film has Preity Zinta as the heroine. The film has been directed by K Raghavender Rao.
