SEBI had summoned B Ramalinga Raju at his corporate office at 4.30pm but he did not turn-up citing reasons of ill-health. His advocate Bharat Kumar arrived and informed SEBI officials that Raju would make his appearance tomorrow in the evening.
Raju, who has been untraceable since his sent in his resignation on Wednesday, is believed to be at his farmhouse at Kompally on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
Police officials said they had not received any complaint against Raju and no orders received to arrest him. However, the state CB-CID had commenced independent investigation into the Satyam scam.
