A few months back a ‘not much known weekly’ carried a news item on CPI (M) general secretary Raghavulu sarcastically nicknaming him kammanist rather than communist. May be that is too much of a journalism.
If one follows the statements of Raghavulu in the recent past it appears that he is obsessed with one sole agenda of defeating YSR at any cost in the state and is ready to have secret pact even with any one including untouchable BJP, this is clearly proved when he closeted with KCR yesterday.
Why he is so angry with YSR?
The reason is sometime back Ramoji sought the help of Raghavulu in overcoming crisis, unaware of factionist mind set of YSR he promised that he would convince the government to halt all kinds of attacks on him but CM camp refused to hear Raghavulu word, since then a direct war has been running between the CPI(M) and CM camp. Usually in the communist parties party ideology means leaders words not what is written in their manifestos.
Raghavulu may not know that the public are not convinced with his arguments that YSR be dethroned as he is pursuing anti-people polices. Public and his party are of the view that both YSR and Babu are two sides of same coin, if YSR followed the wrong polices so do the Babu, then what is supporting him again rather than aligning with Chiru or with Loksatta.
For that Raghavulu has no credible reply.
As one elder said Leaders’ agendas should not be the parties’ agenda, it may empower the leaders but the party will be the victim.
