Omar Abdullah new J&K CM
The president of National Conference (NC) Farouq Abdullah stated that his son Omar Abdullah, presently Member of Lok Sabha, would be the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir. The Nc is supported by Congress in the hung assembly.
The Congress high command is reported to have approved the candidacy of Omar for chief-ministeship.
After the formalities of intra-party elections, Omar will be sworn in as the Chief Minister. He would be the youngest politician to hold the post of CM of J&K.
