Michael Phelps wins 11 Olympic Gold Medals
Swimmer Michael Phelps won his 5th gold medal in the Beijing Olympics, when Team USA won the 4×200 metres freestyle relay in a world record time of 6:58.56 seconds on Wednesday.
Phelps had earlier won his 4th gold medal of the Games in the 200 metres butterfly. Having won 6 Gold Medals in the Athens 2004 Olymic Games, he is now the only athlete in the history of Olympics to win 11 Gold Medals.
Phelps is yet to compete in some more swimming events and his medals tally may further go up.
