Incalcitrant Congress continues obscure T-policy
While Telangana region was shut down with total bandh after two suicide deaths in Warangal, the Congress-led UPA government continued its ambiguous and obscure policy on the issue of separate Telangana state.
While Union Home Minister insists on consensus among all the political parties of Andhra Pradesh, the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy says that the issue of granting statehood to Telangana vests with the Central government. Thus there is no clear cut policy within the Congress party itself.
Parliament has been adjourned for the third day today as the proceedings were obstructed by MPs from Telangana demanding a resolution for T-state formation. The AP Assembly was also adjourned as the TRS and BJP MLAs stormed the well of the Speaker demanding T-resolution.
