Devender Goud launches Nava Telangana Praja Party
T. Devender Goud, who resigned from Telugu Desam, formally launched a political party, Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP) on July 11, to espouse the cause of separate statehood.
Goud also unveiled the new party’s flag at his residence in Banjara Hills, which was in sky-blue colour backdrop and the Telangana map in earthen colour was inserted on it.
Goud will announce the party policy at a public meeting on August 27 at Nizam college grounds in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, former AP Minister and former TD general secretary, E. Peddi Reddy, approached the Election Commission for registering the new party.
