CBI special court adjourned CBI’s plea seeking judicial custody of former ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy to June 19th. CBI earlier filed memo with the Special Court seeking the judicial custody of Dharmana and Sabita with regards to their alleged involvement in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s disproportionate assets case .
CBI in its memo alleged that the two former ministers using their influence might tamper with the evidence. CBI even submitted the CDs of the two ministers who at a press conference claimed innocence and expressed their confidence to come clean. Questioning how they could say they could come out clean when the matter was before a court, CBI argued that this amounted to contempt of the judiciary. When the memo came up for hearing CBI court adjourned the case to June 19th.
