Balakrishna to start TDP campaign from Jan 29
Balakrishna, film star and son of former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao, on Sunday announced that he would launch his election campaign for the Telugu Desam Party from Hindupur in Anantapur district on January 29. His tour of Rayalaseema would be followed by electioneering in the North Coastal districts.
However, there are reports that other members of the NTR family may not participate in this campaign. Sources say that actor Traka Ratna has been sour with certain TDP policies and the attitude of N Chandrababu Naidu.
Similarly, NTR Jr is busy with film shooting and may not hit the election campaign trail in the immediate future. He is also said to be cut up with TDP politburo for not confirming MLA seats for some of his film producer friends.
