Nalluri Kiran Kumar Reddy, speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly will be the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and sworn in ceremony will be on 25 Nov 2010 at 10AM.

CLP meeting held at assembly today has unanimously agreed to handover responsibility of selecting new CM to Congress Chair Person Sonia Gandhi and the same has been communicated by Pranab Mukharjee to attendees. After considering various profiles like Geeta Reddy, Jaipal Reddy along with Kiran Kumar Reddy, congress high command has decided Kiran Kumar Reddy from Chittoor to be 16th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the same has been announced by Pranab Mukharjee at 10:10PM on 24Nov2010.

Kiran Kumar Reddy has grown up and studied in Hyderabad and is son of Late Amarnath Reddy(MLA) who happens to be close-aid of Late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Kiran Kumar Reddy is also Ranji Cricket Player and lead South Zone cricket team as Captain.
