The Google Internet Bus started its 48-days tour of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday as part of its effort to reach out to the people with limited knowledge and exposure of Internet.
The Google Internet Bus would visit educational institutions across the State to focus on its campaign of information, communication, entertainment and education.
Interactive content in English and Telugu would be used to highlight benefits of Internet in people’s daily lives. The company will also engage local cyber café owners with an aim to build advocacy for this powerful medium.
During the next 48 days, the bus would cover Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Machilipatnam, Eluru, Kakinada, Bhimavaram, Guntur, Ongole, Nellore, Tirupati and Chittoor.
