CWG: India wins 31st Gold

Heena Sidhu and Anu Raj Singh won the 31st gold for India in the 19th Commonwealth Games by winning the 10 m air pistol pairs women’s event. This is India’s 14th gold medal from shooting.

31 Gold medals is the country’s highest in the history of the Games that started 80 years back as British Empire Games.

Samresh Jung and Chandrashekhar Kumar Choudhary won silver in Pairs 25m Standard Pistol Men. Tejaswani Sawant also won a silver in Singles 50m Rifle Prone.
