Em Pillo Em Pillado Movie Review
Em Pillo Em Pillodo treads the beaten track first-hate-then-love and discovering that their respective parents have factionist feuds. This is a film that is not expected from a banner like Eetharam Movies.
Ram (Tanish) is a carefree college student staying with a professor (Chandra Mohan). He has a sparring partner in Bhadramma (Pranitha) who also happens to be his classmate. The initial hatred between them turns into love. Their romantic journey hits a road block when the come to know that their respective fathers are sworn enemies and involved in a long drawn inter-village feud. The rest of the storty deals with how Ram and Bhadramma bring an end to their parents’ enmity and realise their love.
Tanish is a good actor but gets a role that is not properly etched. Pranitha too has not much scope to perform. All characters actors have done this type of roles in at least a dozen films. Comedians and cameo artists go through their motions.
With a hackneyed story and an inept screenplay, the film has its share of hiccups making the narration that much difficult to absorb. Technically the film is above average, but you get the hotch-potch feeling of eating an ill-cooked meal once you see the End title.
This film can easily be ignored.
