CPI (M) to soften its stand on Telangana
Just two weeks back Raghavulu asserted that CPI (M) will not form an alliance with TDP if the later has an electoral tie up with TRS. Fair enough. Even though under tremendous pressure from different quarters to soften its stand, like its ideological twin CPI, on Telengana issue Raghavulu has not budged a single step and maintained that his party wouldn’t agree bifurcation of the state and l remain committed to unified AP.
Now it seems the loss of trust vote had its share of impact on the state wings of left parties too, giving a small amendment to his earlier statement Raghavulu declared today in Hyderabad ‘’CPI (M) is ready to work with any party including TRS to see the Congress is defeated’’.
If what media speculating is correct in the days to come both left groups, TRS, Mana party and TDP would form a grand alliance and contest elections. If that happens Naidu has to cough up a large number of seats to other partners leaving his own party in lurch.
