A Film School, established in the name of filmmaker D. Rama Naidu, offering two-year post-graduate diplomas in direction, screenplay, script-writing, cinematography and other disciplines, will commence classes from October 8.

Tthe first batch of students pass out in 2010 and the top three performers in each discipline will be given an offer to work for the film projects of Suresh Productions. The course fee is Rs. 2.5 lakh and Rs. 32,000 extra for use of equipment.

The school will provide an organisational framework where students can learn everything about film-making with hands-on experience. There is no bar on age and while the basic eligibility is graduation, admission will be strictly on the basis of the creativity that the student displayed at the interview.
