Chiranjeevi confirms his contest from Tirupathi
Praja Rajyam Party chief Chiranjeevi has a special regard to the abode of Lord Venkateswara. He conducted his first political public meeting at Tirupathi to announce the birth of his party and now decided to contest the April 23 election for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly from Tirupati.
Chiranjeevi may also contest from his native Narsapuram in West Godavari district if he decides to contest from a second constituency.
Chiranjeevi said the PRP would release the list of its candidates in four to five days but certainly before the notification for elections.
According to Chiranjeevi, the PRP list will have a fresh look with many new faces with maximum possible number of women and at least 100 candidates belonging to Backward Classes.
