Arun Kumar alleges land fraud by Chandrababu
At a press conference held in Hyderabad on Monday, Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar specifically referred to certain land transactions involving close associates and relatives of TDP president and the then Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu between 2000 and 2004 in which the owners had no say in the deal.
The Member of Parliament said the family members of one Ranveer Singh Yadav had complained to him that fake documents of their lands at Madinaguda, near Kondapur, were created by others and sold to powerful people. Among those who purchased 10 acres of land were the close kin of Naidu, he alleged. He also circulated copies of documents procured under the RTI Act to the media personnel.
The TDP president rubbished the charge and dared the government to order an inquiry and take action against him.
