Ambani’s Big Pictures buys Hrithik’s Kites for Rs 110 Cr
Anil Ambani’s entertainment company, Big Pictures, is said to have bought the world-wide marketing and distribution rights for Rakesh Roshan’s Kites for Rs 110 crore.
This film, directed by Anurag Basu, stars Hrithik Roshan, Mexican actress Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut.
In 2008, the rights for Ghajini were sold for Rs 94 Crores and that of Singh is Kinng for Rs 65 crore. According to Bollywood sources, the rights for Kites may finally fetch Rs 150 Crore if audio, satellite and other rights are included.
Rakesh Roshan will also get a share from the overseas collections.
