Generous Hrithik gifts lakhs!
Hrithik Roshan’s generosity knew no bounds on Zee TV’s reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar’ when he took out his cheque book and gave Rs.100,000 each to the top seven contestants on the music reality show.
The contestants – Abhilasha, Ali Sher, Kamal, Sugandha, Sniti, Bisakh and Ranjeet – felt on top of the world.
Abhilasha, who sang a song from Hrithik’s upcoming film ‘Guzaarish’, said she is confused about what to do with the cheque.
‘I’m in two minds. I don’t know what to do with the cheque – should I encash it or preserve it for the life time for generations to see!!!’ she said.
Though Hrithik had thought of rewarding the best singer, he couldn’t control himself and rewarded all the contestants.
‘I thought I will give one cheque to the best singer of the evening… but looking at this pool of talent, I can’t help but reward all of them with whatever little I can,’ Hrithik said on the show.
‘Aaj jitna mera bank balance kam huya hai… ussse kayi zyada main apne dil mein leke ja raha hoon (Whatever effect of this gesture has happened on my bank balance, I am taking much more than that in my heart from this platform),’ he added.
The actor came as a guest on the show to promote ‘Guzaarish’.
