Pete Doherty creating jewellery for men
London, Oct 20, Singer Pete Doherty is creating his own range of jewellery.
The 31-year-old crooner has collaborated with former Cartier designer Hannah Martin to create “Albion Trinketry”, a luxury range of rings, chains, cufflinks and pins.
“Pete’s been obsessed with antiques and trinkets for years, so he thought this was perfect. He didn’t want to do anything tacky or laughable so he was chuffed when Hannah got on board,” dailystar.co.uk quoted a close friend of the Doherty as saying.
Another source added: “It’s really great, impressive stuff and I think Pete’s going to surprise people.”
A spokesperson for the collection also confirmed that Doherty is creating jewellery range.
He said: “Hannah’s interpretation of Peter’s ideas and her bespoke approach to design has ensure a collection that is both original and timeless. Each piece has a sense of regency and history yet also modernity reflecting the past whilst also giving a nod to the future.”
