Naomi Campbell to wed in ancient Egyptian temple
Cairo, Nov 4 (DPA) British supermodel Naomi Campbell plans to marry her fiance, Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin, at a temple in the Egyptian city of Luxor, sources in the tourism industry said Thursday.
The ceremony is scheduled for December at the nearly 3,500-year-old Temple of Luxor, according to the sources.
The couple plan to stay at the Nile-side Winter Palace hotel, built in 1886.
Controversy has surrounded Campbell for several years, with the supermodel facing several charges of assaulting different members of her staff.
Earlier this year, Campbell was summoned by the war crimes tribunal for Sierra Leone against Charles Taylor on suspicion that she had received a blood diamond.
