VV Vinayak To Turn Producer and Bring out low-Budget Films
VV Vinayak was claimed to be a most successful director in the early days of his career. He gave blockbusters and mega hits some time ago. His films like Aadi, Dil, Tagore, Bunny, Krishna, Adhurs, Badrinath were blockbusters. However, days have changed and a lean period is going in Vinayak’s career. In recent times, his film ‘Alludu Sreenu’ introducing Ballamkonda Srinivas as hero, proved a moderate hit, but ‘Akhil’, the introductory movie of Akhil, son of Nagarjuna, was an utter flop. In this backdrop, Vinayak had reportedly decided to keep his megaphone aside and produce movies instead of directing them with an inspiration of his contemporaries like Sukumar and Puri Jagannath. He is planning to go for low-budget movies and introduce new faces to the industry. However, Chiranjeevi had got faith in his calibre and gave him a chance to direct his 150th movie and story discussions are in progress and the tentative title considered for that film is ‘Kathi’, Nayanatara is most likely to play opposite Chiranjeevi in this movie.
