Vijay Anand’s son to make his debut
Vaibhav Anand, son of legendary actor-writer-director-producer late Vijay Goldie Anand, brother of Dev Anand, is ready to make his debut in Bollywood and his film will be made by Vijay Anand Pictures.
Vaibhav was trained at The Lee Strasberg Academy and has done extensive theatre with Satyadev Dubey. He also worked under Ravi Chopra and Sooraj Bharjatya to acquire on-the-set experience.
Vijay Anand was the director of successful movies like Johny Mera Naam (1970), Jewel Thief (1967), Teesri Manzil (1966), Kala Bazar (1960), Tere Ghar Ke Saamne (1963), Tere Mere Sapne (1971) and Guide (1965).
Guide, starring Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman is Vijay Anand’s most critically acclaimed movie. It is based on R.K. Narayan’s novel The Guide.
